Pair of pewter baluster shape pint measures made by W.R Loftus,321 Oxford Street,London. W.R Loftus was well known for making good quality pub measures to the Licenced trade. These two pewter measures are of thick gauge cast pewter. Under the base is engraved “Railway Hotel, Hitchin”. The verification mark is VR 484 which is for Hertfordshire County 1890-02.
